Most of those account holders are first-time investors—young professionals who opened accounts on Groww or Zerodha, made one or two SIPs, then stopped. Not because they lost interest. Because the products made them feel stupid.
The specific moment that kills long-term investing habits is not complex. A user opens the app, sees a red number, panics, and closes the app. No explanation. No context. No reassurance. Just a loss, and silence.

What makes it different from typical portfolio projects is not the domain. It is the process. I used AI tools deliberately across every phase of this project—research synthesis, persona drafting, competitive analysis, microcopy generation, UI prototyping, and usability analysis—and documented exactly where AI helped me move faster, where it was confidently wrong, and where my judgment as a designer had to override it.
